This Condrieu de sélection parcellaire is in a way the emblem of the estate: it is produced just a stone's throw from the winery, on a granite hillside characteristic of this area. It regularly produces a great wine with a racy, buttery nose, evolving on pear, apricot, toast and laviolet. On the palate, it marvelously combines tension and opulence, and lingers for a long time. A superb white for laying down!

Technique

Viticulture

This cuvée, located in the heart of the Condrieu appellation, below the estate, comes from the area known as “Chanson”. It's a plot-by-plot selection from a steep, arid hillside of muscovite granite.

Oenology

De-stemming, skin maceration, cold settling. Alcoholic fermentation in barrels at 16-18°. Malolactic fermentation on fine lees in oak barrels. Battonage once every 3 weeks. Aged 18 months in demi-casks of Allier forest oak.
