This is a beautiful expression of a Fulliéranne arvine that is light and delicate, with a rare purity. The nose opens progressively on floral and fruity notes of great nobility, between wisteria and citrus fruits. The body is continuous, invigorating, with the characteristic saline signature. Technique
Viticulture
The vines come from the Les Claives area (very high planting density: almost 20,000 vines/ha). The vines are around 15 years old.
Oenology
Vinification and ageing in vats. No malolactic fermentation is carried out to preserve the aperitif and tonic qualities of Petite Arvine.
Suggestions for accompaniment
Oysters in jelly - Shellfish - Smoked salmon - Grilled fish.
Liquid geography
Christophe Abbet is an unclassifiable winemaker and the enfant terrible of the Valais. On the terroirs of Martigny and Fully, he produces some of the most original wines of the region. In particular his sweet wines, incredible wines of time, which he makes in his small cellar in Martigny-Bourg. These wines are the peaks of the Valais in their category! Baroque wines, flirting with fruit or spice horizons according to the vintage.
